Abba, wipe away my tears.

There have been so many.

My soul is wounded.

My heart hurts.

I am tired beyond any tired I have ever known.

For this time, for this place

Is what you have been

Raising me for.

I need you strength so

I can stand strong,

Facing the evil one.

Abandoning your purpose

Cannot be done.

Clothe me in your grace.

Help me to live forgiveness

And express your love.

I am sad and I am weary.

I beg for you to plant me as a tree

To bear fruit for you in season.

Empty me until I no longer am.

Hide your word in my heart.

Give me wisdom and

Renew me to continue this fight.
