When Salvation came, it caused an uproar
for the Devil knew that it was near his time
To be cast into Hell, where he'll burn forever
for through God's Son Jesus, we were given a sign
Now God's children are called, the Gunslingers of Glory
That he has armed and given power
and the stand-off is at, the O.k Holy Ground
as the clock is ticks around that hour
Now the armor comes fit, ready for the showdown
our hats are called. the helmet of Salvation
Our vest is the breastplate, of righteousness
and the shield of faith, you have no limitations
Our boots is feet, shoud with the Gospel of peace spurs is the word to stick it to him when he
points
For he comes to accuse and to shoot us down
also, afflict pain and suffering to our joints
But our six shooter's are loaded, on our hips
They are the Sword of the Spirit, the word of God
the notches on our belts, are victories we won
because we had our shooting partner on our side
Now as our Savior rode in on gallant great Wings
a quiet hush came over, the crowd that was near
For with him came grace, mercy, peace, love and joy
that made the Devil shake and tremble in fear
Now as the sun goes down and the smoke clears away
we can rejoice in the name of our God
For his bullets were swift and made sure it's aim
and now in our hearts his word, does abide
