I want a new name
Write it on my heart
And tell me it means ‘Yours’
In a language only You and I speak

Tell me we’ve got matching tattoos
And Yours was written with six-inch nails
And mine with Your kiss

Tell me You’ll hold me so tight
I’ll fall apart like a favourite book
And You’ll stitch me back up with gold thread
Until I’m strong enough to hold You back

You deserve all the love
Inside a supernova
All the love You spilled out
Like an ocean till we learnt how to swim
To float like You carried us

You deserve our open palms
Filled up with sky
And oceans
And kingdoms
To pour our worlds, ourselves
Into Yours

You are love
It’s written on Heaven’s walls
And the bottom of the ocean
And at the edges of this universe
And You will not wipe it off
And call Yourself something new
Because that is Your name
As 'Yours' is mine
