Lord, I am in this same place again.
With a hurting soul and oh so bruised.
I cannot make sense of what my life has become.
I am so tired of feeling like I am being used.

Another round of fights.
I cannot stand.
Make it stop.
I do not understand.

My heart cries
For peace to be brought.
There is too much pain,
Not enough thought.

Please, Lord, please,
Will you not make this pain go away?
I do not want to hear more lies.
More promises are broken today.

Help me, Jesus.
Help me to pray.
I need your wisdom.
I am not sure if I should stay.

Is not your love stronger?
You can pull him back.
He is not beyond your reach.
God, please supply his lack.
