1 John 5:1

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God; and every one that loveth Him that begat loveth Him also that is begotten of Him.

There are many adjectives that describe the word genuine, but true faith is all believers' belief that yes Jesus Christ is God's Son who was born of a woman to be the Savior of the world. Also, a solid belief that yes Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world and that the Father and the Son worked together in redeeming man back to God the Father. Christ's Spirit the Holy Spirit resides in all believers to guide them on this Christian journey. True/genuine faith cannot be deterred or shaken by Satan and his masterful tactics because the believer faith is grounded in the Word of God and His promises; God is faithful to His promises.

These questions come to mind, How strong is your Faith? Is your faith strong enough to walk on the water as Peter did? Will your faith allow you to stand as Job did in spite of tremendous losses? Genuine faith says yes to all these questions because God is a rewarder of our faith in Him.

Let's close today's discussion by saying that our faith in Jesus our salvation is assured and spending eternity with Him is guaranteed.
