for i turned to look at life at a different eye
to my suprise i found out something behind my skin

the black skin
i realised the true power and beauty behind my skin
i finaly realised the true meaning and nature behind a black skin

because when people judge me by my skin
some of them tremble because of the history behind the skin
some of them are proud of the history behind the skin

and then i realised that the skin has the power
the black skin has the power that favours mankind
and for that and from that day i became proud to be black
from that day i became the most proud balck south african boy
and therfore
i am proud to be black
