In the midst of agony's fate
   with all that fell, as of late.
I was left to my devices
   while the Life came with surprises.

Joy would follow my grievous heart
   in a friend, my knowing not.
She came with care and a humorous word,
   and for a time, my spirit's gird.

Faceless beauty with an ageless heart
   came with the night falling apart.
A friend I know among many words
   the dabbler came to collect my shards.

She met my need, not my want,
   soothed my spirit, my soul so gaunt.
A tool of the Lord in a friend in need
   reminding me God's good indeed.

So this way I remember you;
   by my will this I choose.
Sis, you are a faceless beauty
   your heart's His garden, very fruity.

Your Southern voice is an ageless girl
   with conversation and thoughts a-whirl.
You became my one good friend;
   my gratitude becomes without end.
