You say,
sorrow comes in the night but,
joy comes in the morn.

My heart aches.
The light of day seems far
from my grasp.

Why can I not feel
you near?

On my knees,
I cry out,
begging for an answer.

Will you hear me?

Restore me I ask,
take my brokenness and
make it whole.

Let me feel
that joy that comes
In the morn.

Let me feel
that peace stirring
In my soul.

My hands, I lift to you
in praise,
in surrender.

Your presence
I can feel
I can breathe again.

That joy in the morn,
that peace stirring in my soul
I can once again feel.

My life you have restored.
