In the walk of life
There are happy times and nostalgic ones
The beautiful times are a torch to the path yet to be walked upon
The nostalgic ones get a permanent place in the heart.

In the walk of life
There are some tender moments that are ever so indulging
Some repeat themselves again in time; destiny’s bonus
Others remain a cherished thought after the reversal of events.

In the walk of life
When we have had our day, lived our moment
Long after only memories are left; the chains ever so tight
Love also remains alongside those memories.

In the walk of life
Sometimes we are neither here nor there
It becomes difficult to make the heart understand
The surge of emotions that well up from within.

In the walk of life
What seems so far away to the mind
Is in reality close at hand, near to our gaze
Watching our every move as perceived by the heart.

In the walk of life
When words cease to flow; sensitivity intensifies
The heart continues its active dialogue
Remembrance becomes the communication key.

In the walk of life
Relationships take on a new course
People meet, then abruptly part
Meet again and sadly part once more
But love always remains in the heart.

In the walk of life
The hour that allows hearts to meet
Becomes a memorable one
The hour that draws them apart
Also becomes a significant one.

In the walk of life
We travel on the same road with others
The path may twirl and turn at various forks
But the final destination remains the same.

In the walk of life
Days roll into years on the strength of love
Life becomes worth living each day
A beautiful meaning is given to our existence
With the blessings of the Almighty from above.
