BLUE EYES

The first time I looked into your eyes
I knew right there and then it was true
Forever we would have heaven’s ties
I looked into your eyes, eyes of blue.

I knew the first time I kissed you
And when I touched you the thrill
My life changed and yours did too
A life of dreams for us to fulfill.

When I caressed your wonderful face
The sensation of your joyful reaction
Snuggling with you in blankets of lace
In my heart you are the main attraction.

Though I thought I would end up with a boy
After seeing you as I do, it’s ok you’re a girl
Either way my heart is filled full with joy
You're my baby girl, and I'm your mother, Pearl.
