My Crown


When I come to the end of time
And the day has ended,
I wish neither statements of sadness nor stories of gloom and pain.
I ask you, do not cry for me
For I am now free from tears, suffering and pain!

Remember me always but miss me at times.
Never curse, swear or blame the God that made us.
For God is love and has brought me to Himself
So that I may know true love and true peace.

For the race I have completed is yet for you
To be in our God’s presence face to face.
Where I am is all in the Master’s plan
For His glory and my perfection!

So when you are sad and your burdens heavy,
Talk to Him in loving prayer.
Miss me much but let me go to the place He
Has prepared for me!

I have run the race and crossed the finish line.
So let this moment be of wondrous joy!
For my faith in God and Jesus’ work
Has been rewarded with this Crown
I now wear in happiness and splendor!
