I was a slave of Satan...

I had no form of peace.
I felt so empty.
Freedom was a cake,
& I couldn't have a piece.
I wanted to run
But I couldn't.
in the field to see the sun,
to make it that far I know I wouldn't.

I was a slave of Satan...

I felt my heart growing cold.
my faith growing mold.
I did what I was told,
The wrong of me was controlled.
Sadness entered my heart.
I needed a new start.
I felt frozen like a video game,
I needed a restart.

I was a slave of Satan...

I wanted to do right,
But I was chained to the wrong.
suicide thoughts I began to fight,
I heard the voices like a song.
I knew I wasn't were I belong.
But how could I escape.
I desired freedom all along,
I was stuck like paper on tape.

I was a slave of Satan...

This I knew but I was tired of it.
Got tired of getting hit,
Got tied of being a misfit.
I took off the fear mitts.
I prayed to God to save me.
I prayed on my knees.
That I wanted to be free,
Next to him I wanted to be.
I felt something inside of me.
making me new.
I felt a change in my heart,
I felt being stirred like stew.
I opened my eyes,
I was in a different place.
Everything felt different,
Even my face.
I was a slave of satan,
But I didn't feel I was anymore.
a new me was awaken,
my prayer God didn't ignore
