MARRIAGE

There is one bond which rises above all others
In the beauty and magnitude of its love.
Married partners remain together for eternity,
Evolving and being renewed from God above.

Man and Woman are reflections of the Divine,
Through the marriage union they mirror Him
Through a spiritual marriage they become one
Each treating the other as their only holy shrine.

Genuine marriage love extends beyond legal ties
This kind of bond is founded on innermost friendship,
A desire for the other's happiness over one's own,
An unwavering commitment, eternity as the prize.

Hand in hand Spiritual growth and marriage go
Looking toward God’s love we try to understand
They will be blessed in their marriage and in what they do
The Lord has said, "Give and it will be given unto you."
