THE REASON WHY
You’ve heard the story of old
Mine isn’t to reason why
But to do or die!
Fine and good I’m told
But the reason why
Isn’t to do or die
But the reason why
This reason is no lie.
There is one far above
Who had a reason why
Perfect was his only love
His son he sent to die
Hung up on Calvary cross
For our sins he went to die
For his clothes, die they toss
For our souls the reason why.
