REIGN IN ME
The love, I have for you, grows, every day,
In words, I can express, and tell it how you say.
The purity and heartfelt joy, I know I really feel,
Which keeps, my daily life, on an even keel.
Tell me Lord, the words you want, for me to share around,
Let my pen, flow, across the page; souls can bear to sound.
Release, the words I know, the ones you want to say,
To, fulfil them much, directing them, your way.
Oh let me hear you clearly Lord, my ears be open wide,
Oh let me hear you Father God, your bright and sunny side.
Let me see the bumblebee, around the lovely flowers;
Let me hear the birds all tweet, singing every hour.
I marvel at the beauty, you've created, all around;
I drink in all the pleasure, every sight and every sound.
Thank you for the senses, that I have inside of me,
The emotions and the thoughts I have, which are truly key.
May my time be used effectively, each and every day,
Looking all around me, find the words to share and say.
May my heart, beat with yours, every second every hour,
May I feel your Holy Spirit, dwell within, and reign in power.
