GUIDING LIGHT

Start light, start bright, guide me tonight
My path seems dark, I’ve lost the way
With heavy heart I need your light
Where to begin and end I can’t say.
My struggles are many and run deep
Life’s worries are blowing me in the wind
Though I try I can not sleep
Danger seems to lurk around every bend.

Star light, start bright, guide me tonight
Oh what ever should I do?
I’ve tried so hard with all my might
But whatever I decide I need to remain true.
Give me your answer, the answer right
There is one my child who answers prayers
He alone is the truth and the light
Turn to the Lord for you He cares
Through Him everything will turn out alright.
