LIVES LOST IN WAR

Why are we in this war anyway
Ten years in, two more to go
Why oh why do we still stay
2000 lives lost nothing to show.

Have to get the number one man
In rocks and caves he hides
Leader of evil with an evil plan
Horses and camels left he rides.

Come home, come home we say
Let Afghanistan be in charge
Another life is to much to pay
Bin Laden is no longer at large.

America why do you go so slow
Sons and daughters belong home
Anyway rocks at us they through
End this war now, say shalom.

Today we celebrate our flag day
America land of the proud
No reason to continue our stay
Time to lift up our voices loud.

Ten years in, two more to go
It’s ten years to long you see
Time for America to re-grow
Leave Afghanistan, let them be.
