Christ didn’t die for us not to be restored
Christ didn’t die to see sin trend
Christ didn’t die for us not to be with Him in the end

Christ didn’t die for us to use His name in vain
Christ didn’t die to cause us any pain
Christ didn’t die in order for us to shun Him
Christ didn’t die for our light to dim

Christ didn’t die for us to think we’re a mistake
Christ didn’t die for us to not endure heartache
Christ didn’t die to allow us a destructive addiction
Christ didn’t die to have us think poorly of His resurrection

Christ didn’t die for us to misinterpret His signs
Christ didn’t die for us to destroy His design
Christ didn’t die to try and be famous or popular
Christ didn’t die because He wanted us to become improper

Christ didn’t die to let us waste our life
Christ didn’t die to bring us any strife
Christ didn’t die to not express His love
Christ didn’t die for us not to look above

Christ didn’t die for us to question His motives
Christ didn’t die for us to use our temperament like an explosive
Christ didn’t die in order to strip us of our free will
Christ didn’t die to watch our lives stumble downhill

Christ didn’t die for His words to be redefined
Christ didn’t die for us to become disinclined
Christ didn’t die for us to commit crimes
Christ didn’t die to see us be evil at any time

Christ didn’t die for us to quit
Christ didn’t die in an effort to forfeit
Christ didn’t die to be misunderstood
Christ didn’t die for His gift not to be good

Christ didn’t die for us to become a slave
Christ didn’t die for us to go alone to the grave
Christ didn’t die to embarrass you and I
Christ didn’t die for His death not to be viewed as a sacrifice

Christ didn’t die to see us lose our mind
Christ didn’t die for one, but all of mankind
Christ didn’t die for us not to be revitalized
Christ didn’t die because He is still very much alive
