This old ship, the sails are wavering
and the winds are about taking the mast
But the trust I had in my Savior the Captain
it will help me to last
I found a way to keep afloat
when the waves they came so high
I ran to my Savior and called to him
to help me to survive
Each way I looked, it was in awe
how great this tempest storm
But then I heard his soft calm voice
say, Be still, you're in my arms
He carried me safe and ashore
and he did not scold me before
While I was tossed and somewhat afraid
but he instead took the tears I poured
But somehow I knew I had faith on board
and in him I would not sink
So I held onto his love and grace
and by him in me, it formed the link
Who knows the hour when it arrives
just what each one would do
For when I looked" I said, it's a RINGER!
but faith in my God is what brought me through
