There is a garden named Gethsemane that points the way to Eternity.
It holds the words of our Blessed Savior and warms the hearts of all who visit there.
It holds the hopes of many in our reality
and brings us to a comfortable certainty
that we are meant to experience intimately.

As Jesus knelt in this garden so long ago…
He prayed to his Father in sadness and woe.
“Give me the strength to endure all this and more.
Let me be the light that men follow to your kingdom. Let things be different than they were before. Let me show them Heaven so they’ll know where they’re from. Let them see me as the One. I am your only son.”

This ancient garden is a symbol of eternal love sent to us in a miraculous way.
Does this garden still exist today? Can we go there in an innocent way?
Let us keep this garden in our memory,
silently reflecting on its spiritual treasures.
Let this garden be the place we come together…Jesus and me…the ancient garden of Gethsemane.
