OUR MEMORIAL STONES:

When Israel was lead through the Jordan River, Yahweh had them pile stones for a memorial of this great miracle.

Where are you memorial stones? What signs and symbols have you made to remember the great works of God in your life?

Israel carried the stones to where they spent their first night in the Promised Land, and there they made a monument of Gods loving power.

So there should be memorials in and around our homes to signify the works of the Almighty in our lives.

We buy trinkets and souvenirs for looks, missing the opportunity to create visible symbols of the Most High’s miracles for us.

What a blessing physical signs would be to our families and friends – literal badges of Jehovah’s faithfulness and care.

Then when crisis and adversity hit, we would have signs all about us showing how God has loyally lead us in the past.

Sickness, accident, job loss, death and relationship problems wouldn’t look so overwhelming against the backdrop of past divine leadership.

God give us wisdom to begin openly honoring Him and building a hedge of spiritual protection against future doubts.

Writings, pictures, ceramics, statues and paintings are just a few of the things that could be living memorial stones in our lives.
