Flight

Our God never slumbers or sleeps
He knows where we are and our soul he keeps
He sees us when we are high in the air
or down in the valley in the depths of despair

We were frantic that for our flight we would be late
But God brought us safely on time to the departure gate
He never lets us out of his sight
Even when on our first ever flight

Now we are flying high up in the sky
The clouds are where God's footstool does lie
He is the master of the seas and skies above
No matter how high or low we go we cannot escape his love

When soaring high on the eagle's wing
It makes you feel happy and your heart to sing
But once your plane hits the ground
Then it's time to go one more round

I have a reservation for a one-way flight
To a place where it is always day and never night
I am not worried about being late for this one
It will be at God's appointed time and his will be done

If you want to come with me, then get on board
Just accept Jesus as your personal savior and Lord
The only way on board is through Jesus the door
There's always room on this flight for one more

I am ready for my departure, my reservation is in place
and it's all because of God's wonderful amazing grace
When Jesus comes for me and calls me home that day
I'm going to leave this world and fly fly away

Are you ready for your departure to arrive at Heaven's gate
If you wait too long to decide then it could be too late


Matt 7:14(KJV) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
