God is perfect; His Word passes the test,
A shield to whoever trusts Him in a quest;
His strength and power makes all perfect,
Defeating the wrongs to make it correct;
He causes my feet to be as one of a deer,
To run quick up a mountain and disappear;
My hands given strength to teach me war,
To break steel bows never to use anymore;
He also gave me a shield of my salvation,
Guarding against all earthly temptation.
God is perfect as well as a proven fact,
Everything He has done has had an impact;
If not for Him we would not be here now,
Nothing be here, no where when or how;
For it is salvation that I have my strength,
With His endurance I can go to any length;
I can be agile and alert as I remain awake,
Accept a quest He wants me to undertake;
For the strength of my salvation has made,
All my lusts and fearful evil suddenly fade.
