She looks deep into my heart and soul,
And her eyes are filled with such trusting
Shining with hope and faith and love
Love forever everlasting.

The hues and sparks of my eyes are in hers
Eyes big, round, pure and blue
They are wide open to the world and its’ bounty
The worlds’ hurts still so few.

She looks at the world and all that is in it
Through the untainted, all-seeing eyes
Of a heavenly and loving angel
With no earthly ties.

Her soul is shimmering like a diamond
Innocent, whole, new and pure
Placing her life in the safety of my hands
For her promising and full future.
