A Stone's Throw Away

With Jesus in the midst...
will you want to throw
your stone at me
with friends gathered round
so they too can see...
me fall to the ground ?

Am I close enough for
a good shot-
will you wound
what you think
is the right spot ?
With Jesus in the midst
I am not alone -
remember this
when you throw the stone...
when I bleed and when you
break my bone.

There are treasures I have
that you cannot touch nor take
and my faith remains strong
impossible to break .

With Jesus in the midst
I am not alone.

Where Jesus is in our midst, so is His Army of the Faithful, for together we make up the Body of Christ!


Thank you, Julie, for the reminder that God is our courage and stay when we find ourselves being attacked by the workings of the desperately wicked human heart.
