GOD’S SECRET MAKES SUCCESS
God is a God of secret and not until you trade with Him, discovering His Secrets, you are still very much far away from your success. Considering Deut. 29:29, “The secret things belong to the Lord to us and to our Children for ever….” You might not be accessible to every of His secret, but those ones He reveals belong to you. Taking realistic steps towards God’s revelations are pointers to outstanding success.
Not until you are exposed to this revelation, darkness might still be overshadowing your breakingthroughs. The discovery of the crude oil was not made possible during the era of our great ancestor. They were unable to know that millions of Dollars are covered up under them. But in our generation, as a result of God’s revelation through scientific invention, innovations and discovery, crude oil and other important solid minerals were discovered. This eventually added value to our nation’s economy. Had it been that our ancestors pressed further in research, they would have enjoyed it before their departure and their welfare would have been improved better than what we learnt about them. Similarly, very many of us have refused to intensify further over some secrets at our reach, which God has revealed to us, either long ago or recently. Up till now, you might not know that what you need to survive has been given to you while you are yet to have them. And the reason being that, you have abandoned the secrets it takes to proffer solution.
I will need to exemplify on this aspect, you have the ability to search out matters concerning your living (read 1 Cor. 2:9-10; Romans 10:12). What actually differentiates you and men who are making exploit for God today is that, those men took their time to find out some of the thoughts God said he is having in mind for them in Jeremiah 29:11. It takes you discovering these secrets to break-even in life. Great men do regularly what mere men do occasionally. It takes persistence to break forth into your greatness. Therefore, in a very systematic order, we are going to examine some of these secrets and Job will be a case study. What was the secret behind his success? Let the book of Job, chapter twenty nine be considered as whole:
“Job continued his discourse: “How I long for the months gone by, for the days when God watched over me, when his lamp shone upon my head and by his light I walked through darkness! Oh, for the days when I was in my prime, when God’s intimate friendship blessed my house, when the Almighty was still with me and my children were around me, when my path was drenched with cream and the rock poured out for me streams of olive oil.
“When I went to the gate of the city and took my seat in the public square, the young men saw me and stepped aside and the old men rose to their feet; the chief men refrained from speaking and covered their mouths with their hands; the voices of the nobles were hushed, and their tongues stuck to the roof of their mouths. Whoever heard me spoke well of me, and those who saw me commended me, because I rescued the poor who cried for help, and the fatherless who had none to assist him. The man who was dying blessed me; I made the widow’s heart sing. I put on righteousness as my clothing; Justice was my robe and my turban. I was eyes to the blind and feet to the lame. I was a father to the needy; at night took up the case of the stranger. I broke the fangs of the wicked and snatched the victims from their teeth.
“I thought, `I will die in my own house, my days as numerous as the grains of sand. My roots will reach to the water, and the dew will lie all night on my branches. My glory will remain fresh in me, the bow ever new in my hand.’
“Men listened to me expectantly, waiting in silence for my counsel. After I had spoken, they spoke no more; my words fell gently on their ears. They waited for me as for showers and drank in my words as the spring rain. When I smiled at them, they scarcely believed it; the light of my face was precious to them. I chose the way for them and sat as their chief; I dwelt as a king among his troops; I was like one who comforts mourners.” – Job 29:1-25
Were you able to read the above verses very well? Job was only re-counting all the benefits he had in God before God permitted the devil to test him, which was unknown to him. Due to this affliction that come his way, he had a flash back to what he had enjoyed in God before the trial period come. From the above verses, it could be clearly seen that Job was a man of high reputation in the land. He was referred to as the greatest of all man in the East (Job 1:3), this reflected the great measure of his success and confirmed that he had access to every of his need. Job told us his secret from this chapter 29 and this he began as from verse twelve; “because I delivered the poor who cried” to be continue……
