There's A Story Inside You

There's a story inside you
waiting to be told
The worth of your hidden yarn
is more than silver and gold

You think 'cause it's not her story
and it doesn't sound like theirs
That you should never tell it
who, you wonder, would care

The world is waiting for you
to open up and let it out
It's time to let everyone know
what you're really all about

And did I not mention
it could help someone else?
That will never happen
if you keep it to yourself

There's a story inside you
I hope we all get to hear
And enjoy it, because
God put it there, my dear
