When I wake up at dawn
Scan the morning glory with my eyes
It is between nature and me
A world of our own.

When the evening calls out to me
The sunset feeds my eyes
It is between creation and me
A world of our own.

When the birds follow my trail
Converse with me in their own language
It is between these delicate creatures and me
A world of our own.

When I allow time to lead me back
To where it all began and redefine moments
It is between time and me
A world of our own.

When I allow life to show me
More than what meets the eye
It is between life and me
A world of our own.

When I look into the eyes of the one I hold dear
Allow my heart to have its fill of love
It is between my beloved and me
A world of our own.

When I lift my soul to the Almighty
Allow His graces to rain down on me
It is between the Trinity and me
A world of our own.
