I know you are just like me, readers of Faithwriters. We love to read others'articles, be they poetry or political theories,pain, suffering, joy,fact or fiction, we love to read!!
In following up, we love to communicate and I believe many friendships have been formed through this website.I have personally experienced this.

In fact, I have just posted a 'new' poem today.
Entitled; 'From a New Babe to an Old Sage'.
I was thinking of time.You know, every day is 'new', yet,we live on an 'old' planet, we live under an 'old' sky, so how can we claim a 'new' day? Our bodies become 'old' with age.
In many cases, our hearts remain 'new'.
After I typed and submitted the poem,I had this thought, which I would like to share with you.
It comes under the category of 'WHAT IF?"

What if there were no books entitled The Bible, The Koran, The Torah, or any other book which would describe the creation of life? From where would we source our guidance?

Could we simply fall back on our cultural value systems? If so, what would they be? If none of us had ever heard of God, how would we be living today? Would there be a person or persons,who takes the role of leadership? If so, how many would be prepared to follow? What would it take to make that person {or persons}feel like leaders? Same question goes for the followers.
If there was no evidence of God, where do we source wisdom?
I would love to hear your feedback on these questions. This is not a 'If you don't send this to at least 10 people within 20 minutes, you will be cursed'! Far from it! If you have time, please feel free with your thoughts.
