Diligence delivers Dividends
Of great generational blessings.
So work, stretch and trust to the dead end
And you will not be denied your spring.

Learn from the ants because they are wise
They do not play in the time of sowing
Learn too from your elders that are wise
Their silver hair comes from their knowing

Learn the lesson from the five wise virgins
Who trimmed and filled their lamps ready
Waiting for the Bridegroom’s coming+
The wrath of God greeted the lazy

The Folly of Indolence
6 Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise,
7 Which, having no captain, Overseer or ruler,
8 Provides her supplies in the summer, And gathers her food in the harvest.
9 How long will you slumber, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep?
10 A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep ---
11 So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler, And your need like an armed man.

Ecclesiastes 3: Everything Has Its Time
1 To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:
2 A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted;
3 A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away;
7 A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak;
8 A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace. Eccle3:1-8

Walk in Wisdom
15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,
16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Matthew 25
1 "Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.

7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.
