The Little Boy Within
The Emptiness of Sin

There is a little boy within man that yearns for a father. Some have brothers but not a visible father. It hurts! The emptiness comes because the father in most cases is not in the home. There is within every man the desire for daddy to show up. They want him to be there for them but all they have is DNA!

St. John 16:27-28 for the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world; again, I leave the world and go to the Father.

Did not Christ leave his Father and come to the earth to live as a man? Did He not yearn to be with His Father? Did He not feel in the flesh that His Father had forsaken Him? In every man there is an inward yearning for his earthly father just like the one Christ had for His heavenly Father. He cried out Father why have thou forsaken me. When He came as a man into the earth He took on a fleshly body and had to be led by the Spirit just as we do today. What happened to Jesus was a fleshly work but what He gave up was the way for Christ to once again enter into the hearts of man. When He sucked up the air of sin in three hours and he felt that lonely emptiness that sin brings. He did this for us today.

Jesus came to his own people and they received Him not. Jesus born into a Jewish family through the bloodline of one favored and in obedience to God. If God chose an obedient vessel why do we accept unworthy vessels to share our goods with? God tried to bless His people and they believed not. Are we today any different? God bless us with our need but we want more; man is never satisfied. All those that did believe was not there with Him all the way.

St. John 12:37-42 but though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him. That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled which he spake Lord who hath believed our report? And to who hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him. Nevertheless among the chief rules also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

Jesus had to be graveyard dead for them to believe and yet they still did not believe or accept Christ as their Lord and Savior. What’s it going to take for man to believe? What else can God do for us that we will walk in His ways and honor Him as He has required of us to do? People we are a mess rather we want to believe it or not. Many times we know the truth but will accept what a man says rather than what we know. God is not pleased with man that they will not glorify Him in Spirit and Truth. We are selling our hearts out to heathens when our hearts are to be sold out to God. What is wrong with us? Why do not yearn for the more of Christ? We say we love God, we love Christ and He is a vital part of our makeup but yet we lack the desire to know Him in a more significant way. If we knew Him and love Him we will obey His Word, and keep His Commandments. To know Him is to love Him and to love Him is to obey. There is no other way around it; either we do or we don’t.

It’s too much lukewarm Christianity. If we are lukewarm God will spout (spue, pour, discharge, emit, gush) us out of his presence. Revelation 3:15 I know thy works that thou art neither cold nor hot; I would thou were cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. How do we think Jesus feel about what we are doing? How should He feel after He has given so much and we are so ungrateful to reciprocate the same love? It’s time to come in compliance (agreement, conformity) with the Word. It’s time we make a choice today to go all the way with God. Man complicates the work Jesus did where they don’t have to do anything. Jesus had hands and feet that was nailed to the Cross at Calvary. Once he got over the flesh part of His life He was able to submit to the Father spiritually. When we submit our flesh to God through the Spirit because of what Jesus Christ did we can do as Christ; sat at the throne. Revelation 3:21-22 to him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

This was not just a religious thing for Jesus to do; it was ordained of God. We don’t realize yet what the kingdom of heaven is like because we fail to believe that we can have heaven on earth right now. Many believe in material things as heavenly but this is not true. God made things in the earth for us to use. He don’t need a wood house to live in He have a home not made with hands. He doesn’t need a car He travels through the air and not paying to travel by airplane. God is awesome! He is in every place at all times, but He dwells in the hearts of men. He is not as far away as we think. Jesus wondered where He was and thought God had forsaken Him. He felt deserted by man but now He was feeling that God was deserting Him too! Why have you abandoned me? Why have you left me Father? Have you quit being my Father? Many thoughts must have; went through Jesus carnal mind at this ninth hour because of what He was going through. Jesus partook of man’s sin and felt the heaviness of it but then He gave up the Ghost.

Some things we are not to partake of. They gave him vinegar mingled with gall and when Jesus tasted it He would not drink it. They had already stripped him of his clothes and put on Him a scarlet robe. They platted a crown of thorns and put on his head and a reed in his right hand; and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him saying; Hail, King of the Jews! Then they spit on him and took the reed, and smote him on the head. They then took the robe off of him and put his own clothes back on him and led him away to be crucified. Then they found a man of Cyrene named Simon and compelled him to carry the Cross for Jesus. They then led him to Golgotha, the place of the skull. After all of this they gave him vinegar to drink. Vinegar of the Middle East was wine turned sour. The use of vinegar was forbidden by the Nazarite. Surely they had to know that Jesus did not drink that but to continue their mocking they did it. What hatred for a man that would bring them life again!

If they had not been mean enough they crucified him and parted his garments, casting lots as it had been prophesied by the prophet Isaiah. Then they sat down and watched him. They then set up over his head his accusation; this is Jesus, the King of the Jews. Being reviled and mocked he heard them say “thou that destroy the temple and build it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the Cross. He could have come down but prophecy had to be fulfilled. God will accomplish that which He first began in us just as He did here with Jesus. But it will take a ready and available mindset. These people was along with the Elders, Chief Priests and leaders of the Church that mocked Jesus; the church folks. I can imagine that this was funny to them; being used by the Devil to bring God’s plan into fruition. I know this just about made Satan mad after he realized what he had done. Now he had to change his plan and deal with that Holy Spirit in man again. They said He saved others but cannot save himself! Satan used them to tempt Jesus when they said let Him come down from the Cross and then we will believe. He realized that he had not won. He put him up there and now wanted him to come down because this in fact was God’s work he had not won.

Satan put it in the people to cry out against Jesus; Jesus would not bow down to him. He thought by getting rid of Jesus would allow him to continue his rampage against mankind; God’s created being. He can come against the flesh but not the Spirit. This was God’s way of bringing man His Spirit once again. Jesus trusted in God so they again mocked Him saying let God deliver him now, if he will have Him for Jesus was the Son of God. Jesus instead consumed the sin of them all and us too! From the sixth to the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land. God has nothing to do with sin which was the reason for the darkness. There is no light in darkness or sin and when Jesus had consumed it all He gave up the Ghost that shook the whole earth. The law died and grace was birth forth. The graves were opened and the Saints that was dead rose and went into the holy city and appeared to many.

Afterwards when the centurion and all them that was with him watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, truly this was the Son of God. What’s it going to take before we realize who Jesus is? The little boy within man wants to commune with us. He wants to know what He did for us is sufficient? Is my love ample enough, is it plenty enough for us to believe? Jesus gave his all for us. The body went to the grave but his Spirit once again went back to the Father. The Spirit makes man come alive again; a living soul. Will we allow His Spirit to reign in us, leading and guiding us into all truths? Jesus did this for us, what are we going to do for Him to show we appreciate his love for his Father and the love of the Father? He prevailed as a woman does in her time of labor to birth forth a child. He birth forth Salvation, Redemption, Sanctification, Righteousness, Deliverance, Holiness, Guidance, and Peace. The Salvation He brings is spiritual. He connected it with His Person, and in certain well-known passages with Hi death. He gave his life a ransom for many. We have a newfound knowledge of Salvation, remission of sins, holiness, guidance, and peace. The kingdom of heaven is not meat and drink but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

The Kingdom of Heaven has been brought to the earth once again. What are we going to do with it? Will we lock Him out or will we let Him in. He’s knocking and wants to come in. Don’t let our good be evil spoken of, watch how we entertain angels for some have entertained angels unaware. Jesus is in the midst today calling us back to the Throne of Grace!
