To have hope in a resurrected new life, you need to examine your character. This was true when King David prayed for forgiveness in Psalm 51:12. “Restore me again the joy of your salvation and make me willing to obey you.” David knew that a changed life would only come through a changed heart. And to do that is to recognized you are a sinner. David knew what he had done with Bathsheba was wrong. He didn’t need Nathan, the prophet to tell him he sinned. While reading Psalm 51, leads you through David’s mindset of guilt, sorrow, and repentance.
Think of a time when sin has halted your progress in life, stagnated in faith looking for a hopeful way back to God. Living distant from God is no good. The time is now for all people to look within and understand what can I do to live a resurrected life. God wants us to experience His fullness of life, as He created it. Not a life of pain and detachment from a life He provided through the Holy Spirit, in Jesus Christ.
Many of us live in pain and suffering not knowing how to get back to peace and joy. Some think pain is the prospect of a Christian life, not so. Even though we live in an evil world filed with suffering, even for believers. Knowing our faith and values are colliding with world values and attitudes. We know this human experience won’t last forever. The point is your human experience of pain and suffering is created by you for if you stay connected within your spirit, all your needs are met. And, once you arrived back within your spirit, you’ll find the resurrected hope, provided by God. You’ll stop looking at your bitterness and resentful experience, and regain the spirit of God. At that moment, knowing His knowledge and presence carries you through this painful human experience.
This is why the Lenten session for Christians is so important. It is a chance to examine your life and the negative energy emanating your personality. We shouldn’t be living like this we need to change, let your positive light energy shine. Let the light change not only during Lent session, but observed throughout your human lifetime of experiences.
The only way to reach a resurrected life is through obedience in God’s will. An obedient life is one not living with wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, fighting, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. They live as backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They are forever invention new ways of sinning and are disobedient to their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, and are heartless and unforgiving. They fully aware of God’s death penalty for those who do these things, yet they go right ahead and do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.
So, that is why Jesus came to help us and to lead us away from a sinful life, to a resurrected life. This was achieved through His dead. For he suffered and experienced temptation, he is able to help us when we are being temped. Remember, a sanctified life is good works, helping the poor and oppressed, living a moral and Godly life, having self-control and patients, loving Christians, so to grow into having genuine love for everyone else.
Go live a resurrected life.
