What does Jesus mean to me?
I pondered it the other day
I have found He's all I need
Through thick and thin, come what may

He died to set the sinner free
He died so that man could survive
He died for you and He died for me
He freely gave up his own life

In connection with His dying
I don't often hear of His rising again
But I consider it mystifying
For without rising, He died in vain

What does Jesus mean to life?
To me, He's like music or breathing
He let's us live in peace, without strife
Without Him, what's the purpose in living?

Now he sits above on His heavenly throne
He smiles when He's accepted by us
No one should go through this life alone
And that's why the Father sent Jesus
