THE POWER OF CHOICE

One of the greatest gifts that God has given to mankind is the gift of choice; volition. It is the choice that you make and act upon that you end up alive or dead; victorious or a loser; downcast or uplifted. It is the right of every man and woman to be given the right to choose in life. For example you are reading this article because you chose to.

When Jesus Christ died for the sins of humanity, he gave us a choice in John 3:16 that we choose to believe in Him and not perish. You may choose not to believe him and perish. The perishing part is inherent with not to believe. Choices affect us every day, the food we eat, the car we drive, the prayers we pray, the scriptures we read. The kind of people who we are today is a resultant of the choices we made yesterday or even a few seconds ago. It is imperative to make the right choices in life. Choices determine your future. Choices determine between a legend and a commoner.

Take account of your choices seriously and choose well. The word of God talks about the ability to discern and judge the spirits and that can only be possible when you have the Holy Spirit in you. When you have the voice of God you will always choose well because choices can bring a great turn around in your life.

If you do not know Jesus in your life, why not make this choice today to accept Him as your Lord and your Savior and pray this prayer:-

Dear Lord Jesus, come into my life.
I understand the power of choice and I choose you today.
Be my Lord and Savior, in Jesus Name.
Amen
