Lord I need Your touch
Lay Your hand upon my brow
Lend to me perfect peace
Like the wave, I break and bow
Wash over my weary heart
Draw me out over life’s sea
Let me run like a river of joy
And pool at Thy precious feet
I need Your loving touch
The faith of oceans deep
As much as desert sands
As much as my soul can keep
Like the bird that fly’s ore
Let Your Spirit bear me up
To eternal peace and home
To drink forever from Your cup
