Sing to the Lord our God praise His name,
Extol Him, the cloud rider for to proclaim;
A father to orphans, judge of the widows,
In the goodness and blessings He bestows;
As our God dwells in His holy habitation,
As everyone comes for joyous meditation.
Being pure while worshiping before God,
Righteous and undefiled in honor and laud;
Your inner thoughts leave the hectic pace,
While in His presence seeking His grace;
The outside world has no business within,
The sacred hallowed walls free from sin;
For the business at hand is with the Lord,
At a time for your Spirit to be restored;
Keep in mind the reason you go to church,
For to honor God and answers you search;
Give Him your full attention not to neglect,
You are in His house so show Him respect;
Remember that He is our Heavenly Father,
Just Jesus Christ is our Heavenly Brother.
