Every step will bring you nearer, to that blessed promise land.
And whatever may be the tide, He is always there to guide.

As a small boy, often times when thought to be in danger, I would grasp my Dads hand. Afterward, when the perceived danger had passed, I would turn his hand loose to go my own way. Is this not like we sometimes do to our Heavenly Father. When we feel life's dangers, we hold to him. Then, when the life straightens up, we let go.
Not so, with our Heavenly Father. For He always holds to us and never lets go. Thus, this sermon in poetry.

Surely, as I have thought and planned, so shall it come to pass, and as I have purposed, so shall it stand
For the Lord of hosts has purposed, and who can annul it? And His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back? (Is. 14:24-27)
