I wrote this song on the 26th September 2011. I was trying to edit this song earlier this evening when our 9 year old decided he wanted to change the words of the song and make it into a poem. “I had a bad day at school today mommy, can you help me to make it better?” He said. His way of making it better was to rearrange the words of the song. I wanted to share it with you and encourage his creativity.
Verse 1
God is the King
He can do anything
God is able to do
The things He has promised you
Verse 2
Man does everything they can
But God always has a plan
God is a mystery
As we’ve seen throughout history
Verse 3
We must always seek his face
All of us human race
By getting down on our knees and pray
This we must do every day
Verse 4
We must always love and care
That is God’s plan, He is just and fair
We must read His word each day
Let’s do it now without delay
