Do not get carried away,
For it might lead you astray;
By some things that have been taught,
Of earthly desires sought.

So gaining your inner strength,
Helps resist at a great length;
For kindness from God is good,
Within your faith as it should.

Your strength does not come from food,
Not depending on type of mood;
Or the rules on what you eat,
Nor whether if you have meat.

For rules are not helping those,
To follow them as who chose;
Those who do not follow them,
Break the rules God will condemn.

They who serve are not to eat,
At the head to find a seat;
For they sacrifice their right,
Serving others in their sight.

To sacrifice means to go,
Inside where the insults flow;
The ridicule to endure,
As it tempts you with a lure.

Through Christ we should always bring,
Sacrifice of praise to sing;
Words that will acknowledge Him,
Making you happy not grim
