What is a Christian?

Before one says "I am a Christian”,
Realize it is more than a word.
It means striving to be Christ-like,
Spread the Gospel heard.

Hold no bitterness or hatred,
against a fellow man
This is what God intended
in His master plan.

A Christian knows that God
sent his only begotten son
Not to only save a choice few
but each and everyone

Only Scriptures God provided
Are their guiding light,
It may cost worldly friends
but it is what is right

Christian’s know Jesus as Savior
and do as he would do
Realizing when they has sin
repentance can renew

Christians’ that serve religiously
cannot earn their place
They know Salvation is a gift
It is God’s saving grace.
