I want to live all over again
Open my eyes to the world once more.
Take in the sweet voices of my parents call
Absorb the earth’s atmosphere into my being
Allow my heart beat to start strumming as I begin life.

I want to live all over again
Trace my childhood carefree delights once more.
Cuddle my favorite doll in my arms
Sing my preferred nursery rhymes.
Begin to pray with a faith so new
Retract my steps to my school days with glee.

I want to live all over again
Walk in the early sunshine of life.
Dwell on the word of the Lord each day
Gather friends to be kept in time.
Build blocks of memories on my way
Bask in the warmth of youth’s glorious rays.

I want to live all over again
Feel the first magic of love once more.
Stir the gentle feelings of romance
Drink in the nectar glance of love.
Hear my heart beat soar to dizzying heights
Watch as my soul is captured forever by an entrancing name.

I want to live all over again
Breathe the air of middle age.
Wallow in the twilight zone of life
Be wiser from the lessons taught in time.
Learn to express myself finally at last
Utter the words sealed for so long in my heart.

I want to live all over again
Hope solemnly for the sunset age in life.
Be prepared to meet the Lord
Nourish my soul with spiritual food.
Keep ready my feet for that great final step
Look forward to a warm embrace at the end of time.
