It doesn’t matter how he made you smile
Or how you may have felt
Don’t be too quick to give yourself to any man
You will only be another notch in his belt

Momma use to tell us
That young ladies are supposed to be seen and not heard
He already has kids with someone from his past
Use wisdom and don’t let yourself be made his second or third

Count it all joy
That he is not a part of your life any longer
The trials that you went through
Only came to past, to make you stronger

There are so many women bound with low self esteem
Because they were once connected to a cheater or a liar
Be patient and wait on God to move on your behalf
Then when you are ready, He will bless you with your heart’s desire

This was written to say that sometimes we inflict heartache and pain on ourselves. We received many red flags and other signs to let us know that we should not have been involved in some of the past relationships. Some have been a mistress to a married man! Why not respect the covenant of your fellow sister’s marriage, because you will want yours respected when you get married? Can’t we just say “No”! Don’t allow these men to come and go, because if you don’t one day you will reap exactly what you sow! We were not created to be used and abused! There are far too many of our mothers, sisters, daughters, nieces, god-daughters, cousins, friends, neighbors, and other female associates being victims of domestic violence. And most of them are due to low self-esteem. Let's talk to our daughters, so that they will not fall prey to becoming a teen single parent! I have seen too many relationships that reads, “ In a relationship ,but its complicated”. God is not the author of confusion, that's Satan! If its that complicated, that is not the relationship that God ordained for you, he’s the one that you settle for! Seek God first before you get in a relationship. Take the time to get to know him before you get involved in a relationship. He may not be worthy of you or your time! (Especially if he’s not working! A man that doesn’t work, does not eat!) So Ladies, can we take a stand to stop settling for less than God’s best! Amen!!!!
