Predestined...
A destiny prepared?

Were we really designed,
Just to live for ourselves?

Each man to his tent.

Perhaps so.
Then again,
Why are we so loved,
By You whom loved first?

We do what is good to us,
Not You.

For what is good to us,
It is according to whomever,
Is our Essence,
Abysmally chained,
Particularly guarded,
Jealously loved,
Within our inner most person.

I say, ‘I love You.’
Do I really proclaim truth?
Did I just declare Love,
As a Liar?

Trials and tribulation,
They must pass.

Just so You could let us see,
As the very Pharisees that we are,
Just whom we first loved,
And so will love to ourselves.

For whatever we do,
We do it,
Just for our sole Destiny's sake.
Whomever it may be.

Each man to his tent.
