What kind of friend are you?
Do they make you a priority?
Are you available too?

Are you flocked with friends?
Do your pastures overflow?
Is there depth to relationships?
Or herds you do not know

Friendship requires honesty
Not just bearers of cheer
Sugarcoating to avoid conflict
Things you need to hear

Are you willing to be there?
When they hit a wall?
If you know they need help
Will you take the call

Quantities by the hundreds
May not be worth a dime
Yet one who is penniless
More valuable than time

God wants us to love each other
Till our life draws to an end
Give your best asset you have
Draw closer to a friend
