Follow Your Dream

One must not be afraid to dream
It is the heart of self-esteem
Life has its share of thorns
Chiseling smiles to scorns

Peaks and valleys rejoice and bear
Reality does not seem to care
Yet there is always hope at hand
Dreams make life less bland

Sometimes fear tries to curtail
Flooding doubts afraid to fail
Challenge the second guess
Not to try is no success

Do not fear what will transpire
Fuel your dreams with desire
Give your all and do your best
Let God handle the rest

Knowing you gave your all
Even if you stumble or fall
Your heart will truly gleam
You followed your dream
