ARE YOU WAITING FOR THE LORD'S RETURN?

(This poem was written, just before Super Bowl XXXIV
Which was played on Sunday, January 30th 2000.)

Are you waiting for the Lord's Return,
With eager anticipation yearn?

Or are you hoping the Lord won't come this year,
Or at least His coming won't be near.

To much to do more work for You,
Seems there's never enough time to get through.

But not today Lord the Super Bowls here,
Tomorrow Lord? Isn't that kinda early in the year?

Next month seems like a better time,
To rush right in might even be a crime.

But I'll get started, You wait You'll see,
I'll get to it Lord, You can count on me.

Oh! Yes Lord, about that thing I ask from You,
Could You put a rush on it, it'd help me through.

Thanks again Lord for all You do.
I gotta run but I'll be thinking of You.
