It was a perfect day in heaven
The Lord looked down at earth and smiled.
He had chosen two special people
They were made for each other in His eyes.

They both grew up in different ends
Little did they know who would capture their heart one day.
They never dreamt that when love would come
It would change their lives forever more.

The day love arrived was a marked day
They were not aware of what life was bringing their way.
They shared special and poignant moments
Not knowing they were creating a treasure house of memories.

One fine day they drifted apart
Years passed, seasons came and went.
The Lord looked down and sighed
He stretched out His hand and made Time return for them.

The day they met again was another distinguishing day
Clearly, there was no denying the obvious emotions.
There was something special between them
A feeling abounding in spontaneous love.
Try as hard as they might, it would never fade away.

They were made for each other
Though they couldn’t be with each other.
In the eyes of destiny they were the ambassadors of love
Representing an unmatched brand of love.

Made to love each other
Made to wait for each other.
Made to long for each other
Made to cry for each other.

They were made to partake
In a higher kind of love.
A sacrificial love
Akin to the one the Lord had for us.

Planned for each other
In the realms of heaven.
United forever to each other
In the garden of paradise.
