His Promises

People promise just about anything,
But those promises can be broken.
Most of the time they are.

Jesus promised
that He will be back for us.
We are to be awake
and watch for Him.
He will return because He promised.

We can depend on His promises.

God promised us eternal life.
His promise will never be broken.
He is never changing and when
He promised this to us,
who are born-again,
He means it.
(Read 1John 2:25, NKJV)

We can depend on His promises.

He promised He would never forsake us.
We are the ones who leave Him.
He is always with us.
He waits patiently for
us to return to Him.

We can always depend on His promises.

Once we asked Him into our heart,
He promised that nothing
could take us away from Him. (John 10:28NKJV)

We can depend on His promises.

Jesus promised that He would
leave us with a Helper.
He did.
He gave us the Holy Spirit.
When we asked Jesus into our life,
By faith, we shall receive Him.
He is the one who lives in us.

We can depend on His promises.

Thank you, Jesus, for your promises.
I have faith and I trust in You,
And I know I can depend
on you to keep all your promises.

2Corinthians 1:20 (NKJV)--For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

Hebrews 10:23 (NKJV)--Let us hold firmly to the hope that we have confessed, because we can trust God to do what He promised.
