Love Indeed!

Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.

II Corinthians 6:2 (NLT)


While gathered at a 2012 Super Bowl party, several friends shared their belief as to the game’s outcome. During the debate, Mike Seaton asked his friends, “What if we were given fifteen minutes to say everything we wanted to say before the end?”

In the middle of the game, each participant responded with a variety of answers. Jim Carroll, a postal employee, said he’d try to be as friendly s possible to everyone on his delivery route. Mary Seaton, a grocery store employee said she’d give discounts on certain products in hopes of making each buyer more happy. Jenny Carroll, an sirline stewardess, said she would take out her cell phone then call her children to tell them how much she really loved them.

Silent came upon the group. Following the momentary silence, each agreed that Jenny Carroll’s response was the best. They also agreed they would try to contact loved ones to let them know they are loved and regarded. Mary Seaton left her seat for a brief moment to call her children to let them know she loved them.

Prayer: Almighty Father, let me not be afraid or too busy to come to You to tell
You my love for those I love as well as my love for You.
