Time: Day of the Lord.
Place: At the back of the line,
of saints and angels,
about to march with The Lord
to Earth from Heaven.
Characters: One of the saints,
and her guardian angel, on horseback.

BACK a' the LINE,

"NEAH!
I LIKE it back, here!
I didn't want to come on this
excavation, in the FIRST place."

"This is The Day of the LORD!"

"I'm really not into ADVENTURES:
didn't like 'em down on Earth,
either."

"What's EARTH like,
anyway?"

"A.........PIP.
How come we're not MOVIN'?"

"The LORD will say when
it's time to move!"

"Well.....what's the HOLD-UP:
somebody can't find his HORSE?"

"Everything's FINE!
Stop FIDGETING!
What are you to be ANXIOUS,
about?"

"Can't HELP it.
I was ANXIOUS, the whole
time I was on EARTH.
It's a HARD HABIT to break."

"Well, I'm your guardian ANGEL!"

"YEAH?
What were ya doin' when
I was down on Earth: SLEEPIN'?"

"Very FUNNY.
Hey! LOOK!"

"What."

"Over there!
Look!"

"All I see is PEOPLE,
and a bunch'a ANGELS...
and white HORSES. I
guess The Lord didn't want
to take any CARS into Battle."

"Very FUNNY.
Ha, HA!
NO!
Over THERE!
LOOK!"

"Who: THOSE two people?"

"Yeah."
(Whisper.)
"Ya know who THEY are?"

"No;
I don't recognize them;
were they on TV?"

"NO!"

"Well, I don't recogize 'em.
Were they from MY century?"

"Uh, uh.
They were from the LORD's
day."

"I thought this WAS His
DAY? How many DAYS did
He HAVE?"

"I'm gonna SMACK you."

"ANGEL ABUSE!
ANGEL ABUSE!
HELP!
HELP!"

"Shhhhh!
Don't you know who those
two GUYS are?"

"NO!
They're shaggy lookin' with
BEARDS!
What do I CARE?"

"You've READ about 'em!"

"Were they in the MOVIES?"

"NO!
I TOLD you!
They're from the LORD's day!
They didn't HAVE MOVIES,
back then!"

"If they're not FAMOUS,
then what do I CARE?
Can we turn BACK, now?
We haven't even started
MOVIN', yet!"

"Did you ALWAYS complain
like this,
down on EARTH?"

"Uh, uh.
MORE.
So......
who are those ...GUYS?"

"Well, the one with the
helmet on his head is the
centurion."

"Who's that."

"The CENTURION!
The one who knelt at the
foot of our LORD's CROSS!"

"ICH!
That's DISGUSTING!
What's HE doin' HERE?
Who's that OTHER guy......
on the OTHER horse?"

"The thief."

"THE thief?
Ya mean......the THIEF?
NEAH!"

"Yeah."

"What are..THEY doin',
here?
What are they DOIN',
HERE?"

"What are YOU doin',
here?"

"HEY!
I BELIEVED!"

"So did
they."
